Ballroom & Latin Classes

A fun and organized way to learn how to ballroom dance! Ideal classes for people with busy schedules or those who want to try out different styles to see what suits them best! No pre-registration and no partner required. Purchase a drop in card and save! Classes Tuesday and Friday!

 

Friday Night Lesson & Dance Party

The perfect introduction to ballroom & latin dancing for the beginner. Join us every Friday night for a Drop-In Beginners lesson at 8 pm followed by social dancing at 8:30 pm. A great way to learn some new moves and then try them out in a fun, relaxing and safe environment.

 

Private Lessons
The fastest and most effective way to learn how to ballroom dance. Get one on one instruction from on of our experienced and knowledgeable dance professionals.

Wedding Dance
Make your wedding even more memorable by designing the dance of your dreams. To get you looking your best, we offer three wedding dance packages: basic, standard, and deluxe. Packages include private lessons, group lessons, choreographed intros and more!

 

Ballroom Dance Showcases
Bluegrass Dance Center holds 3 annual dance showcases during the year. The Red & White Showcase in February, The Summer Showcase in June, and The Fall Showcase in October. A dance showcase is organized similar to a dance competition and offers an opportunity to practice performance skills and demonstrate the steps that you have learned. All who participate gain valuable experience and confidence.

 

Fitness Classes

Belly Dance (w / Nashwa Cahill)
This class is designed to target the belly area and enhance the waistline. To improve posture, breathing and burn fat while having fun. We encourage everyone to sign up for a session; drop-ins are welcome! This class will concentrate on Belly Dance movements, rhythms and drills.
 

Jazzercise (w / Jennifer Cain)
Burn up to 600 calories in one fun and powerfully effective 60-minute total body workout. Every Jazzercise group fitness class combines dance-based cardio with strength training and stretching to sculpt, tone and lengthen muscles for maximum fat burn. Choreographed to today's hottest music, Jazzercise is a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing. Start dancing yourself fit and change the shape of your body today!
